A Note From Donna
Hi everybody! Randal’s webmaster role is pretty heavy right now since we’ve decided on a bit of a redesign for our website, so he’s bogged down with code. That gives me the chance to get this issue out with lots of exciting opportunities for your continued business growth … and for those newbies that have just joined in, for your upcoming business growth 🙂
Welcome to all who have joined our Sunshine Family. Thanks for choosing us as your sponsors and for all of your “hard” work Sharing Sunshine (I know it’s so much fun). It’s wonderful owning your own business and your own destiny.
Get outside during this wonderful time of year. I work on the screened porch. Winter will arrive too soon. My personal website (blog), The Nature In Us contains a lot of natural health info. Subscribe to the email that will send you a list of topics 3x a month (see left sidebar).
Blessings to you and your business,
Donna
NSP’s Training – READ THIS!
Training is key to success. Your NSP distributors won’t get that by getting one answer to a question at a time from you. Encourage your members and distributors to use the training options NSP offers. You will run yourself ragged trying to address individual questions from each of your distributors. That makes neither of you very effective because you’re training them to train their people the same way.
With the internet realm there is no excuse for anybody not to get continual training. NSP provides this training so you have time to focus the many other aspects of your business. How many times have I heard that there’s no time to do a newsletter to your group … or even that there’s no time to take training yourself. This is not a model of success. It will only exhaust and exasperate you until you drop out or burn out.
Take advantage of NSP’s training. This is of great value monetarily and as an investment in your personal health program. The upcoming Education Week is something to make a commitment for. Are you serious about your business or not?
If you’re not motivated to attend for business success or an investment in your personal health, there are prize drawings during each session and you earn $50-$100 product credit for attending. If you attend all 5 classes, you get a certificate of completion.
Robin Sockness in Atlanta says, “Not sure if any of the other ” sunshine family” have done one of these [webinars], but I was truly impressed with all the information I got from Dr. Pederson’s program (Silver Shield). In my day job, we pay upwards of 150 bucks to attend webinars, so I think it’s pretty amazing that NSP is offering it for free to anyone! It’s a wonderful deal!”

Little Heroes Foundation and NSP
This non-profit has partnered with Nature’s Sunshine. NSP is offering Silver Shield to the people of Ghana through your participation in this incredible project.
Every year, millions of people are lacking in adequate immune system support in sub-Saharan Africa. NSP teamed up with Little Heroes to offer assistance to Ghana. With your help, they can provide Silver Shield to save the lives of children in Africa.
NSP will match the number of bottles that we purchase. The process is to donate to the Little Heroes Foundation for the Silver Shield Ghana Project. It’s not on the website yet, so be sure to make a note when you contribute. They will purchase Silver Shield for the project with your funds and NSP will match what they purchase. Visit the website at www.littleheroesfoundation.org.

Congratulations to Robin Sockness! She asked to meet with us at the end of August for some coaching and ideas on ‘closing the sale’ with people she has telephone consultations with. Robin felt there were some areas that she needed to buff up on be more professional with regard to sales. She came with specific desires and a list of questions and we gave her specific answers and ideas on presenting a more professional image, rather than just a “I love pets and wanna help you” image. She asked for a hands-on coaching session where Donna was the customer and Randal had Robin’s role. Her love for pets is still there, but changing her focus from “MY” business to “the business or corporation.” That would change people’s view from dealing with a “one man operation” to dealing with a business which puts people into more of a comfort zone for buying. She wrote her ‘script’ down and put it into action in September. One of her sales was for $300. By the end of the month, she had 4436 QV. Her average QV (Jan.-Aug.) was 1904 (highest being 2356). That’s a 235% increase! We rejoice with her for seeking, setting, and working her goals for success.
Congratulations to Maria Peppers who signed up on August 21st, set up her My NSP website, and signed up her first member on September 1. Before the end of the month arrived, she had sponsored a total of 7 in her first month of business. She also reached the bonus percentage of 18%, so she’ll have fun getting her first commission check. Great job, Maria! Maria and her husband, John, run a Doggie Hotel in Alaska. It’s not hard to see what keeps her motor running 🙂
Congratulations to Nathan and Kelley Howlett for two more new managers in September.
Congratulations to John and Roxanne Howlett on a new manager breakout in September.
Ben and Paula Koch in Texas are distributors in Robin’s family and this month I received the first issue of Ben’s newsletter. What a great job! A really nice format and lots of different information. As his subscriber list grows, I’m sure their NSP sales will grow also. He’s using a blog linked to his My NSP website.
Speaking of blogs, Dianne Frase has finally stepped a bit further into the “techie zone” and decided to do a blog website. She doesn’t have much time to work on it each week, but little steps are better than no steps, so it’s moving along. While I’m visiting Alabama in November we’ll be brainstorming ideas to make it more effective for her NSP sales.
Virginia Franks broke her left arm in three places and has been on the mend from required surgery on both sides of the arm. Life events like this sure give you time to ponder the perspective of daily routines. Virginia says, “I have had so much time to think. I have already seen so much good come of this.” That’s Virginia! Always looking at the positive side of things. They gave her a healing time of three months, but I know she’s been shortening that with her herbal program.
Christina and Peter Bethke in Oklahoma has their first wedding anniversary celebration at a lovely B&B in the forested NE area of Oklahoma. Who can go to the forest without dreaming!? They came back thinking they’d like to do the same thing as the owners did where they stayed. A B&B with an herb shop and great views.
Dreams are a blueprint for reality, so keep on dreaming and taking little steps toward those dreams. If you wait for big steps you may find yourself in the same spot as a year ago, so don’t expect miracles every day, but put your mind and body to work making whatever little step you can toward your dream. They add up!
