Bowel Detox contains the nutrients essential for proper digestive and bowel eliminative function. This product is rich in vitamins and minerals such as beta-carotene and selenium to protect the intestines. The formula provides betaine HCL, pepsin, pancreatin and bile salts for the upper gastrointestinal tract, and nutrients such as psyllium hulls, kelp and chlorophyll for the lower intestinal tract. These nutrients all play a variety of protective, maintenance and restorative roles in the gastrointestinal system.

Vitamins and Minerals

Antioxidants, also called free radical scavengers, include vitamins A, C and E, and selenium. Antioxidants work to alleviate the damage caused by free radicals. As antioxidants, these vitamins and minerals react with the free radicals to form harmless substances and help to protect cell membranes from damage and infection.

In addition, the vitamins and minerals in Bowel Detox perform other beneficial roles in the gastrointestinal system. Beta-carotene (non-toxic Vitamin A) is essential to the epithelial cells lining the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract. It also aids in the production of mucus-producing cells. Vitamin E increases blood circulation and muscle tone and strength, important in the digestion process. Selenium helps to maintain elasticity in the tissues. Zinc is essential for normal functioning of at least 80 enzyme systems.

Digestive Aids
Digestive aids are an important part of the health of the upper gastrointestinal tract (or digestive system). They also help to maintain the health of the lower intestinal tract by providing proper digestion of all food categories.

The digestive aids included in Bowel Detox are pepsin, betaine HCL, bile salts and pancreatin. Pepsin is a digestive enzyme and strong acid that accelerates the breakdown of proteins and carbohydrates into smaller substances. Additionally, it cleans the intestinal tract.

Betaine HCL improves protein digestion and vitamin C absorption by supplying hydrochloric acid.

Bile salts break fats into tiny droplets that can readily be surrounded by enzymes, digested and absorbed. They are also essential for fats, carotene, vitamins A, D, E and K to be absorbed. Too little bile salts can result in constipation from undigested fats reacting with calcium and/or iron.

Pancreatin is a digestive enzyme used to digest proteins, carbohydrates and fats in an alkaline environment.

Herbs

Ginger is a nutritional aid for the upper gastrointestinal system. It contains the digestive enzyme zingibain, whose usefulness exceeds that of papain. Ginger stimulates salivary flow and dramatically increases the concentration of starch digestive enzyme (amylase) in the saliva. It naturally stimulates sluggish digestion and helps to relieve flatulence. In addition, resins in ginger may absorb toxic substances in the stomach, much like charcoal does.

Psyllium hulls, algin, cascara sagrada, marshmallow and parthenium root are all classified as mucilaginous herbs and supply indigestible fiber-bulk-to the colon. This fiber helps to lower bowel transit time, absorb toxins in the bowel and to assist in regulating intestinal bacteria activity. These herbs also help to soothe the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal system and to support the naturally-occurring moisture balance of the colon.

Other Nutrients

Apple pectin is a carbohydrate that also supplies dietary fiber to the intestinal system. It helps to control absorption of harmful cholesterol and to rid the intestinal tract of heavy metals and other pollutants.

Montmorillonite clay and charcoal also have a cleansing effect and absorb toxins and poisons from the intestine.

Sodium copper chlorophyllin, a form of chlorophyll, deodorizes the bowel and is a natural cleanser for the intestinal tract. It aids in rebuilding bowel tissue and helps to eliminate excess mucus and to destroy toxins and harmful bacteria.

Customer Comments

DIARRHEA, CHRONIC - "It is still with amazement that I think of how long I suffered with diarrhea before meeting you and trying the herbs to stop it. My life has been so much richer since getting on the right "medication," which is, of course, not medicine at all. The doctors had me on so many things and nothing was working. I can now plan my life around something other than a bathroom. Thanks for everything! I am now retired and traveling and could never have done this without a solution that God's herbs provided. I am enjoying my grandchildren and looking forward to my first great grandchild with renewed spirit. The program I used was BOWEL DETOX, PARSLEY, and BLACK CURRANT OIL. I tried different combinations of this and different dosages but this is what worked for me. Praise the Lord! I am forever grateful. I only pray that my story will help someone else that has reached the end of their "rope" as I had." R.G.

DIVERTICULITIS and POLYPS - "I had this condition for 8 years and had to go every 6 months to remove the polyps (38 the first time and a few less thereafter) until I was down to once a year. I was having constant diarrhea also. I began taking BOWEL DETOX, BLACK CURRANT OIL, and PARSLEY. The diarrhea stopped and I'm having two regular BM's a day. At my annual check-up there was only 1 polyp and the Dr. said to keep doing what I'm doing. I certainly will." Name Withheld
